The Bayfields

The 'Terrace on Pittwater' modern australian dining restaurant is ideally located on the shores of picturesque Pittwater, Sydney with breathtaking water views to Bayview & Ku-Ring-Gai National Park, and is the ideal spot for eating out. It is conveniently located just 45mins from CBD in the heart of the Northern Beaches in Sydney.

The restaurants location has operated for over 70 years on the upper level of Sydney's famous Newport Arms Hotel, home to Australia's largest waterfront beergarden, which itself has been a restaurants, dining & hotel landmark for locals and travelers since 1880.

The restaurant itself offers diners exquisite contemporary and modern Australian cuisine served by a dedicated kitchen and floor team that pride themselves on delivering modern food, great service, great wines from Northern Beaches largest wine selection (+200) and an overall thoroughly enjoyable restaurant dining experience. Recently, the restaurant was awarded winner of 2 awards for "Restaurant of the Year - Pub, Tavern, Club" at the 2008 Restaurant and Catering Awards in NSW and in Australia. Previous to this, the restaurant enjoyed 4 consecutive years of acknowledgement as Finalist in Restaurant & Catering Awards in Sydney for "Best restaurant in a pub" for 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007.
