Rugby World Cup Speakers Corner kick-off featuring
Matthew Burke & Stuart Dickinson - Thursday 8th September

The stage is set for another huge Rugby World Cup to launch next month and we will be kicking off celebrations at the Terrace on Pittwater restaurant on the 'eve' of the RWC launch when we welcome Wallaby Legend Matthew Burke and one of the IRB's elite test referees, Stuart Dickinson to the rostrum.

Matthew Burke established himself as one of Australian rugby's most accomplished backs during an 11 season international career with the Wallabies. The triple World Cupper (1995, 1999 and 2003) represented his country with aplomb in three positions: fullback, wing and outside centre. His 81 Test appearances in Wallaby Gold - the last against South Africa in August 2004 - netted him 878 points from 29 tries, 174 penalty goals, 104 conversions and one field goal.

Stuart Dickinson is a very entertaining and knowledgeable speaker and is currently an International Rugby Referee with more than 15 years refereeing experience as a member of the International Rugby Board's elite panel of referee's. Stuart is one of the world's most experienced referees having refereed an Australian record 47 test matches and a tournament record 98 Super Rugby Matches. He has been a referee at the 1999, 2003 and 2007 Rugby World Cups, a record for an Australian test referee.

Together, Stuart and Matt will make a great team for a very entertaining afternoon of laughs, stories and forecasts for what our possible fortunes could be for RWC 2011.
